Our Story
Athlitacomics was started by NFL Player Israel Idonije to unite, entertain, and engage both comic enthusiasts and sports fans. We are the first company to offer a high-level blend of professional athletics and super-heroic mythology. Athlitacomics creates and develops unique comic content, comic properties, and related merchandise in the merged niche market of comics and sports.
What We Do
We do comics! In development are many of our creator-owned projects as well as custom, work-for-hire projects. Our current Athlitacomics branded rollout includes The Protectors, Sports Heroes and DreamKidz Adventures.
The Protectors is a comic book series about a chosen group of athletes who learn they are gifted with more than elite athletic ability. It is an epic adventure perfectly uniting sports action with classic superhero excitement. Issues #0-6 are available now.
Sports Heroes showcase the extraordinary capabilities of top professional athletes through the platform of comic artistry. Sports Heroes capture the elite abilities that make our favorite athletes “larger than life” – their speed, strength and power!
DreamKidz Adventures books are engaging, positive stories for children, ages two to 6 years old, that feature a lively and diverse group of characters promoting concepts of love and education.
Our team has a strong background in and a passion for sports and comics. We are thrilled to share our amazing art and incredible stories, and we look forward to sharing upcoming news of Athlitacomics’ ventures and partnerships.
